| • Fiji Housing Authority – Employed as Finance and Systems Advisor on this joint ADB/World Bank project to re-juvenate the Housing Authority. Over a period of almost 5 years, I undertook several tasks including the selection and implementation of financial, payroll and mortgage systems and provided financial management advice. At the end of the project, the HA was operating profitably for the first time in its existence and had world class computerised systems.
• Fiji Sugar Corporation – Participated in a project to identify possible cost savings and computerisation initiatives.
• Information Technology Dept. – Participated in a review of the Fiji Government’s IT strategy and made recommendations on priorities and initiatives.
• Public Works Dept (Water) – Managed a project to select and implement a new customer billing system for water and sewerage charges. On a separate occasion undertook a review of the tariffs charged for water and sewerage.
• Fiji Electricity Authority – On behalf of Kumagi Gumi, undertook a feasibility study of a proposed new hydro-electric power station.
• Fiji Telecom – Undertook a strategic review of their financial and administrative systems. |
